My experience with dance, acting, trail running, rock climbing, mountain climbing, backpacking, kickboxing, archery, and paintball helps me understand the various uses of the human body in order to tailor a yoga practice for specific muscle groups that may be overworked and under-stretched. My experience as a writer and worker in the seat also helps me understand the dire need for inversions and vinyasa flows to help re-energize and re-stimulate the immobile body.
